Jinbo Party Holds Workshop for 21 Elected Members... "Seeking Realization of Livelihood Legislative Activities"
[Asia Economy Reporter Oh Ju-yeon] The Progressive Party, which produced a total of 21 elected officials in the June 1 local elections, will hold a workshop to explore legislative activities as an alternative progressive party.
The Progressive Party announced on the 16th that it will hold the "8th Local Election Elected Officials Workshop" for two days from the 17th to the 18th in Sunchang, Jeonbuk.
At this workshop, Kim Tae-jin, a three-term successful member of the Gwangju Seo-gu Council, will present "Living as a Progressive Party Local Council Member ? Successfully Completing the First Four Years of Legislative Activity" based on his legislative experience. Kim Jong-hoon, the elected mayor of Ulsan Dong-gu, is scheduled to present "Conceptualizing the Progressive Governance Model for Ulsan Dong-gu." Hwang Kwang-min, a re-elected member of the Naju City Council, will present on "Strengthening Local Autonomy of the Progressive Party after the Revision of the Local Autonomy Act."
The Progressive Party stated, "This elected officials workshop will be aimed at realizing legislative activities that protect people's livelihoods in response to the recent extraordinary economic crisis and creating a regional progressive governance model."
