Hong-Young Kim, Kia Sales Manager, Becomes 'Grand Master'... Cumulative Sales Reach 4,000 Units

[Asia Economy Reporter Kiho Sung] Kia announced on the 16th that Kim Hong-yeong, Sales Manager of the Daejeon·Sejong branch, has been promoted to 'Grand Master'. The Grand Master is an honor given to outstanding sales staff who have achieved cumulative sales of 4,000 vehicles while working at Kia.
Kim, who newly ascended to Grand Master this time, joined Kia as a general employee in 1994 and transferred to the sales department in 1999. Since the transfer, he has sold an average of about 170 cars annually, setting a record of surpassing 4,000 sales this year.
Kim said, "I valued the relationship with customers and tried to conduct efficient sales by consulting from the customer's perspective when purchasing a vehicle," adding, "I think the result of continuous challenges and doing my best after transferring to sales led me to this honorable position of Grand Master."
He continued, "I sincerely thank my family and colleagues who always supported me, and I will continue to engage in sales together with customers."
