Joint Contract Signing for IP Voucher Support Project with Korea Patent Strategy Development Institute

View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] Korea Industrial Complex Corporation (Chairman Kim Jeong-hwan) announced on the 15th that it has signed contracts with companies selected for the 'IP Voucher Project for IP Beginners in Industrial Complex Resident Companies' to strengthen the intellectual property (IP) competitiveness of companies residing in industrial complexes, jointly with the Korea Intellectual Property Strategy Development Institute (President Lee Jae-woo).
Since 2018, this project has been a 'demand-oriented IP support project' that allows startups to utilize various services and educational consulting to secure the desired intellectual property rights at the necessary time.
This year, Korea Industrial Complex Corporation plans to select and support 20 IP beginner companies within 7 years of establishment among industrial complex resident companies pursuing challenging projects related to the 4th Industrial Revolution field.
At the event, contracts for voucher support were signed with 20 participating companies, and education was provided on ▲pre-education for voucher utilization ▲intellectual property acquisition strategies ▲IP rights acquisition and patent analysis and consulting best practices.
Kim Jeong-hwan, Chairman of Korea Industrial Complex Corporation, said, "In an era where technology and information determine corporate competitiveness, intellectual property rights have gained even greater value," adding, "We will expand active support measures that can promote startups within industrial complexes and help the growth of sprout companies."
