This year's awardees are ▲ Choi Gyu-ho, CEO of Coating Korea Co., Ltd. in the employment creation category ▲ Guseong-gyu, CEO of Duson Food Co., Ltd., and Go Woon-ju, CEO of Daboksul Food in the sales growth category ▲ Baek Cheong-yeol, CEO of Saenun Co., Ltd. in the regional development contribution category ▲ Kim Jun-sik, CEO of Dongbang Innovation Co., Ltd., and Park Geum-ok, CEO of Ariul Susan Co., Ltd. in the excellent new product development category ▲ Lee Do-hoon, CEO of Koas Co., Ltd. in the startup company category ▲ and Chae Jeong-mook, chairman of the Jeonbuk Synthetic Resin Industry Cooperative in the SME cooperative category.
A total of 36 company representatives applied for the Outstanding SME Owner Award, resulting in a competition rate of about 5 to 1 for the selection of 8 winners.
Among them, there were no selected candidates in the two categories of long-established companies and economic organizations due to failure to meet evaluation criteria, so the second-place winners were selected in the two highly competitive categories of sales growth and excellent new products.
A commendation plaque will be awarded to the Outstanding SME Owner Award recipients, and the companies will receive a certification plaque and a management improvement subsidy of 30 million KRW.
Additionally, various financial support benefits such as an increase in the loan limit for Jeonbuk Province's management stabilization funds will be provided.
Meanwhile, the Jeollabuk-do Outstanding SME Owner Award, which celebrated its 20th anniversary this year, has selected 105 recipients from the 1st award in 2003 to the 20th award in 2022.
