The New Contents Enterprise Support Center was opened in 2018 in Ilsan, Gyeonggi Province. From September this year, it will relocate to Gangnam Startup Street in Seoul and recruit new resident companies.
The relocated New Contents Enterprise Support Center spans a total of 8 floors, from basement level 2 to the 6th floor above ground. From basement level 2 to the 1st floor above ground, there are multipurpose studios, editing rooms, and meeting rooms, while from the 2nd floor above ground, there are 15 independent office spaces designed for companies with 6 to 12 employees.
The center supports startup companies in the immersive content fields such as Virtual Reality (VR), Augmented Reality (AR), Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Extended Virtual Worlds (Metaverse) by providing office spaces and capacity-building programs.
The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism plans to select a total of 15 companies through this recruitment. The residency period for the selected companies will start from early September and last up to 2 years.
Selected companies can use basic workspaces such as offices, meeting rooms, and seminar rooms, as well as production studios and editing rooms equipped with state-of-the-art equipment free of charge.
In particular, customized growth programs will be provided based on pre-assessment results conducted through professional business development institutions (accelerators).
Additionally, comprehensive support will be offered to help startup companies grow substantially by providing the latest trends and technical education in immersive content, exchanges with leading companies in related fields, and production of promotional content for each company.
Companies wishing to move in should prepare application documents and apply online through the Korea Creative Content Agency website by 11 a.m. on July 11.
