The fund donation ceremony was attended by Dong-Eui University President Han Su-hwan, Director of External Cooperation Lee Hong-bae, Sports Promotion Group Director Park Moon-soo, and Fencing Team Coach Han Woo-ri.
The donated fund is expected to be used as sponsorship money for the Dong-Eui University Fencing Team.
Player Do Kyung-dong said, "I realized my dream of becoming a national representative at Dong-Eui University. I will work even harder to become a world-class athlete," and added, "I hope the donated development fund will be a small help for juniors to grow into excellent athletes."

Fencing national representative Do Kyung-dong won two gold medals in the men's sabre individual and team events at the 2019 U-23 Asian Fencing Championships and ranked first in the university rankings.
Known for his quick thinking and excellent agility, he was selected for the national team for the 2021-2022 season in November last year while still enrolled, and joined Daegu City Hall in March this year.
