The Anti-Corruption Economic Crime Investigation Unit of the Gwangju Police Agency executed a search warrant at the Gwangsan District Office on the 14th.
The police launched an investigation based on suspicions that illegal business activities were conducted under the tacit approval of the responsible local government from 2011, when the permit expired, until the reauthorization in 2014 at a quarry in Gwangsan District.
