[Asia Economy Reporter Jang Sehee] A man in his 40s who stole only luxury bags in the Gangnam area of Seoul has been sent to the prosecution in custody.
On the 14th, according to a comprehensive report by Asia Economy, the Seocho Police Station in Seoul sent a man in his 40s, Mr. A, to the prosecution on theft charges on the 10th.
Mr. A is accused of stealing about 10 luxury bags such as Hermes and Louis Vuitton from bars in the Gangnam area of Seoul over about a month from April to May.
Mr. A took advantage of the lack of surveillance around him to steal luxury bags, and it is reported that the bags were later sold to secondhand stores. The damage amount is estimated to be about 80 million won.
