One Cargo Solidarity Union Member Arrested for Traffic Obstruction at Hite Jinro Icheon Plant

A is accused of driving a cargo vehicle supported by the Cargo Solidarity and causing traffic congestion on the roads around the HiteJinro Icheon plant for about 30 minutes starting from 3 p.m. that day.
At the HiteJinro Icheon plant, on the 8th, 15 union members were also arrested on charges of illegal acts such as stopping a 3.5-ton truck carrying liquor by getting under it as it was leaving the factory. Meanwhile, according to the National Police Agency’s National Investigation Headquarters, since the Cargo Solidarity began their general strike on the 7th until this day, the police have arrested 44 union members caught in the act of illegal activities, detaining two of them. Most of these individuals are suspected of obstructing business, violating laws related to assemblies and demonstrations, obstructing general traffic, and interfering with official duties.
