View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Gwan-joo] Healthcare startup Monolabs announced on the 13th that it has signed a business agreement with the Segok-dong Community Service Center in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, to provide non-face-to-face health management for socially vulnerable elderly living alone.
This agreement was established to help elderly people living alone with their health and basic nutrient intake by conducting one-on-one video consultations, and to provide healthcare services that enable non-face-to-face welfare checks. The elderly who receive non-face-to-face health consultations will be provided with Monolabs' I’m customized supplement subscription service for six months until the end of the year.
The I’m service recommends nutrients needed by individuals through one-on-one consultations and offers convenience by packaging supplements in single packs. After delivery, it provides supplement intake time reminders via KakaoTalk. In particular, Monolabs developed a feature that notifies the community center staff whether the supplements have been taken. If there is no response to intake, it is monitored in real time, and the community center staff can directly check if necessary, effectively managing the safety of the elderly.
