CJ CheilJedang Launches 'Bibigo Whole Grilled Mackerel'
[Asia Economy Reporter Eunmo Koo] CJ CheilJedang announced on the 13th that it has launched 'Bibigo Whole Grilled Mackerel' in portions for 2 to 3 people.
The newly introduced product features a whole mackerel grilled to deliver the same taste and quality as freshly grilled fish. The quantity has been increased 2 to 3 times compared to before, weighing 140 to 180g. The mackerel is scored all over, halved and spread wide, then grilled in a 300-degree superheated steam oven for 10 minutes. It retains the freshly grilled smoky aroma, crispy skin, and moist juices. A special flavoring ingredient dedicated to grilled fish is used to eliminate any fishy smell.
The company explained that this product actively reflects customer feedback. According to CJ CheilJedang's 'Seafood Home Meal Replacement (HMR) Consumer Survey,' 4 out of 10 consumers with elementary school children responded that "it would be good to have large-sized products that the whole family can enjoy together when purchasing seafood HMR." In response, CJ CheilJedang developed this product not for single servings but for multiple people to enjoy as a 'main dish.'
