According to the police and Korail on the 13th, at around 6:36 a.m., a train heading from Yongsan Station to Namyeong Station on Seoul Subway Line 1 collided with a man in his 60s, presumed to be a homeless person.
Due to this accident, the operation of the northbound trains running from Namyeong Station to Cheongnyangni Station was temporarily suspended, and the police moved all 1,000 passengers on the train at the time to Namyeong Station.
Trains on the affected section resumed normal operation around 7:32 a.m.

A Korail official explained, "It appears that the citizen was hit by the train after illegally crossing the tracks, and we are investigating the exact circumstances of the accident."
