Seoul City Resumes Visiting Water Classroom 'Arisu Storyteller' After 3 Years... Recruitment Until 20th
Recruiting 12 Arisu Storyteller Instructors... Activities Starting from August
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Cheol-young] The Seoul Metropolitan Waterworks Authority is recruiting new instructors as it resumes the "Arisu Storyteller" traveling water classroom program, which had been temporarily suspended due to the spread of COVID-19, after three years. The recruitment period is from the 13th to the 20th.
The traveling water classroom "Arisu Storyteller" is a free on-site lecture program where specialized water instructors visit daycare centers, kindergartens, and elementary to high schools to educate about the value of water and the environment.
The class lasts about 50 minutes, sharing interesting stories about water and Arisu, practical ways to protect clean water and the environment, and includes simple water quality experiments that children can experience together on site.
The Waterworks Authority is selecting new instructors to ensure a solid program operation. A total of 12 people will be selected, and anyone with more than 5 years of teaching experience as a hobby or cultural, sports, or recreation instructor, or more than 3 years of teaching experience at public or educational institutions in the relevant fields, can apply.
