Apple Manufacturing R&D Support Center Launches Two New Training Programs
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Hye-seon] The Apple Manufacturing Research and Development (R&D) Support Center established at POSTECH will launch two new educational programs, the Smart Process Lab and the Smart Quality Lab, starting at the end of this month.
Priya Balasubramaniam, Apple's Vice President of Operations, stated on the 9th, "The training provided by Apple includes eco-friendly manufacturing technologies and cutting-edge manufacturing process optimization," adding, "With the addition of these two programs, we offer Korean companies innovative technologies, insights, and hands-on programs for operational optimization."
The Smart Process Lab aims to help small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) improve operational performance, focusing particularly on best practices for optimizing manufacturing assembly processes and maintenance systems.
