A total of eight writers (Jeong Yeoul, Bae Suntak, Kim Honbi, Bang Guseok, Kim Aeran, Jang Gangmyeong, Namgung In, Kim Kwangmin) participated, expressing relatable experiences and thoughts about money encountered in daily life through essays.
Writer Jeong Yeoul shared emotions related to bankbooks that anyone might have experienced, such as the fear when opening a bankbook for the first time and the pride of saving money, while Kim Honbi conveyed experiences about consumption and saving.
Namgung In and Bang Guseok narrated stories related to stock investment based on their unique writer’s sensibility.
The eight essays can be found in the ‘Story’ section under ‘All Menus’ in the KakaoBank app.
A KakaoBank representative said, “We will connect finance and daily life through the ‘Story’ space to make finance feel more comfortable and enjoyable,” adding, “We will continue to present unique and interesting content exclusive to KakaoBank.”
