Man in his 30s Caught by Police for Attempting Trespassing After Chasing Female Taxi Ride-Share Passenger
[Asia Economy Reporter Gong Byung-sun] A man in his 30s who chased a woman he shared a taxi with and attempted to trespass was caught by the police.
According to the police on the 4th, the Yongsan Police Station in Seoul announced that they booked a man in his 30s, Mr. A, on charges of trespassing the day before.
Mr. A took a taxi with a woman, Ms. B, in Jongno-gu, Seoul, around 7 a.m. on the 28th of last month. At that time, Ms. B is known to have asked Mr. A, who was waiting for a reserved taxi, about his destination and proposed sharing the taxi.
After Ms. B arrived at her destination first and got off the taxi, Mr. A chased after her. It was later investigated that he even attempted to enter her residence.
