[Asia Economy Reporter Ki-min Lee] President Yoon Suk-yeol stated on the 2nd regarding the ruling party People Power Party's landslide victory in the June 1 local elections, "I interpret the election results as the people's will to revive the economy and take good care of their livelihoods."
Kang In-seon, spokesperson for the Presidential Office, conveyed during a briefing held at the Yongsan Presidential Office that morning that President Yoon expressed gratitude to the public, saying, "I thank the citizens for the local elections being successfully concluded with mature civic awareness."
