Broadcasting 3 Companies Kim Tae-heum 54.1%, Yang Seung-jo 45.9%

[Asia Economy Reporter Naju-seok] The biggest difference between the exit polls of the three terrestrial broadcasters and JTBC was the Chungcheongnam-do gubernatorial election. While JTBC predicted a close race in the Chungnam governor election, the three terrestrial broadcasters predicted that Kim Tae-heum, the People Power Party candidate, was leading.
According to the exit poll results of the three terrestrial broadcasters KBS, MBC, and SBS on the 1st, candidate Kim was surveyed at 54.1% in the Chungnam governor election, significantly ahead of Yang Seung-jo, the Democratic Party candidate, who received 45.9%.
On the other hand, JTBC's exit poll classified the race as close, with candidate Kim at 51.8% and candidate Yang at 48.2%. Although JTBC's exit poll also showed candidate Kim leading, it judged the race to be competitive within the margin of error.
Accordingly, the three terrestrial broadcasters classified Gyeonggi Province, Daejeon, and Sejong City as battlegrounds, while JTBC classified Gyeonggi Province, Daejeon, Sejong City, and additionally Chungnam as battlegrounds.
Outside the battlegrounds, the People Power Party led in most regions except Honam and Jeju. The People Power Party was found to be dominant in Seoul (Oh Se-hoon), Incheon (Yoo Jeong-bok), Busan (Park Hyung-joon), Daegu (Hong Jun-pyo), Gyeongbuk (Lee Cheol-woo), Gyeongnam (Park Wan-soo), Ulsan (Kim Du-gyeom), Chungbuk (Kim Young-hwan), and Gangwon (Kim Jin-tae).
