[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Gwangjin-gu will hold the "Dream-Finding Career and College Admission Fair" on June 18 at the Gwangjin Youth Center.
The "Dream-Finding Career and College Admission Fair" is jointly organized by the district and the Career and Job Experience Support Center Haebom to provide middle and high school students with career and college admission exploration and related information, offering practical help in adapting to the changing educational environment and career exploration.
At this fair, events will include ▲ admission briefings for high school and college entrance exams and application strategies ▲ in-depth 1:1 consulting ▲ comprehensive career camps ▲ over 20 job experiences through experience kits ▲ college student mentoring and other admission and career events ▲ mini Olympic games ▲ celestial video screenings, among others.
Middle and high school students wishing to participate in the fair can apply by June 10 through the QR code on the Gwangjin-gu Office website. The target participants for the in-depth 1:1 consulting are 80 high school freshmen and sophomores and their parents, and for the comprehensive career camp, 60 students from 4th grade elementary to 3rd grade middle school will be recruited on a first-come, first-served basis.
In particular, this year the district has expanded affiliated organizations such as the Career and Job Experience Support Center and the Gwangjin University Student Mentor Group to make the fair more enriching.
Additionally, the district has invited current admission officers from Kyung Hee University and other public education admission experts to prepare admission strategy briefings for high school and college entrance exams, and arranged 1:1 consulting conducted by active teachers from the Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education’s College Admission Guidance Team, providing middle and high school students with more meaningful experiences through practical admission and career events.
