Yeogyeonghyeop 'Women Entrepreneurs Excellent Products Sale' Draws Hot Interest... Records 4:1 Competition Rate
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Bo-kyung] The 'Excellent Women-Owned Business Product Sale' organized by the Korea Women Entrepreneurs Association saw a surge in applications from women-owned businesses, resulting in a competition rate of 4:1.
This sale event was planned to promote excellent women-owned business products and boost sales both online and offline in celebration of this year's '1st Women-Owned Business Week.'
It will be held from July 1 to 10 across four sectors: offline, online, TV home shopping, and live commerce broadcasts.
In particular, the offline sales event will be held as a special event at major department stores, complex shopping malls, and premium outlets in the Seoul metropolitan area.
With 337 companies applying for the sale event recruiting 87 companies, the competition rate reached 4:1, showing strong interest from many women-owned businesses.
Kim Geum-ja, Chairperson of the Excellent Women-Owned Business Product Sale Promotion Committee (CEO of Rollpack), stated, "We hope this sale event will be a great opportunity for women-owned businesses, who have expressed difficulties in expanding sales channels, to develop new sales routes and promote their brands."

Products from women-owned businesses that applied for the sale will undergo a first evaluation by judges managing the respective product fields, followed by a final selection through evaluation by distribution company MDs.
