[Asia Economy Reporter Jang Sehee] Sejong University Campus Town Support Center is conducting the '2022 Student Village Designer Project.'
On the 1st, Sejong University Campus Town Support Center announced that it plans to carry out an environmental improvement project on the retaining wall near the side gate of Sejong University to raise awareness about pedestrian environments and unsafe paths. A total of six students will participate, and the students (data team and designer team) will survey residents' opinions and design mural drafts for the retaining wall.
This project will create a themed street called 'Sejong Smile Street' with keywords such as happiness, smiles, and crime prevention environment creation. Additionally, using the results of online and offline resident participation surveys, the concept of the mural street and photo zone will be designed, and phrases contributed by residents will be recorded on the murals.
The project's progress will be documented in the form of an archival documentary video. Environmental improvement designs and the production and exhibition of goods utilizing local resources will also be conducted.
Oh Jeonghee, CEO of Sejong Media Connect, who is leading this project, said, "We are currently conducting surveys to gather residents' opinions," and added, "We ask for residents' active interest and participation in the project, which runs until July."
