Venture Business Association and World Bank Share Venture Startup Ecosystem... Agree to Mutual Cooperation
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Bo-kyung] On the 30th, a delegation from the World Bank visited the Korea Venture Business Association to share the current status and achievements of the domestic venture startup ecosystem and discuss cooperation plans.
The World Bank is currently planning a policy consulting project to establish startup ecosystems and regulatory reforms in developing countries in the East Asia and Pacific region. Based on Korea's experience in fostering the venture startup ecosystem, it aims to establish effective policy measures to support the growth and development of developing countries.
The Korea Venture Business Association introduced the history of Korea's venture industry, which began in earnest in the 1990s, and shared the efforts and activities jointly promoted by the public and private sectors to create a startup ecosystem.
