Kyobo Life Insurance Renovates Gwanghwamun Billboard with Poet Kim Chunsu's 'Neunggeum'
[Asia Economy Reporter Changhwan Lee] Kyobo Life Insurance announced on the 30th that it has newly decorated the signboard at its Gwanghwamun headquarters with the poem "Neunggeum" by poet Kim Chunsu for the summer season.
The signboard features an excerpt from Kim Chunsu's "Neunggeum": "There is a sea without beginning or end, fully rippling in our two eyes."
Kyobo Life Insurance explained, "The Gwanghwamun signboard, taken from Kim Chunsu's 'Neunggeum,' carries the meaning of reminding everyone that they each have inner strength and infinite potential."

The current Gwanghwamun signboard includes artwork by author Lee Suji, the first Korean to receive the Hans Christian Andersen Award, known as the 'Nobel Prize for Children's Books.' This design is one of the works published in her picture book "Padoya Norja" (Let's Play, Wave).
