Doosan Logistics Solutions Partners with AutoStore to Expand Logistics Automation Product Lineup
Collaboration with Norwegian Logistics Automation System Company
"Effective for E-commerce and Urban Logistics Center Development"
[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Chaeseok] Doosan Logistics Solutions (DLS) announced on the 30th that it has secured a cube-shaped storage system by forming a strategic partnership with Norwegian logistics automation system company AutoStore. By securing the cube-shaped storage system, it plans to expand its product lineup and accelerate order acquisition.
According to DLS, the cube-shaped storage system owned by AutoStore features high stacking density, excellent space efficiency, and low investment costs. It is also easy to expand after installation and has fast inbound and outbound speeds.
This is expected to be highly effective when used for e-commerce and urban-type Micro Fulfillment Center (MFC) construction, as it is equipment that needs to improve cargo handling and space utilization efficiency.
DLS is now able to supply the cube-shaped storage system. Including the exclusive supply of the shuttle-type storage system from Austria's Knapp, this means it has become the only company in Korea that can provide both types of storage systems.
Recently, it also formed a technical partnership and secured a license with Made4net, a US company supplying warehouse management system (WMS) software. WMS integrates processes such as receiving, inventory, picking, and shipping to enhance companies' logistics management and operational capabilities.
DLS has been providing customized WMS optimized for each site by winning large-scale logistics automation solution projects. By securing the competitively priced and packaged Made4net WMS license, it can now also meet the WMS demands of small and medium-sized customers.
