This manual was issued to prevent safety accidents among field staff, to mitigate risks in on-site duties, and to raise awareness, and it was distributed to external departments and regional stations.
The main contents include safety-related guidelines and measures for each function to ensure the safety of police officers.
Yang Woocheon, Chief of the Nambu Police Station, said, "Police officers face constant risks to their safety due to assaults at various incident scenes. Police officers must be safe to better protect the public, and for the public to be safe, we ourselves must ensure police safety. That is why this manual was published."
