According to AFP, Minister Kuleba stated at the World Economic Forum (WEF) annual meeting, the "Davos Forum," held in Davos, Switzerland, that "NATO, as an alliance and as an organization, is completely sidelined and literally doing nothing."
He gave a positive evaluation of the European Union (EU), saying it made a "revolutionary, groundbreaking decision" for Ukraine.
He said, "At the beginning of the war, there was a general sentiment that NATO was a strong organization while the EU could only express concerns at various levels. However, war is always a test that unmasks true intentions." He also added that some NATO allies are helping Ukraine.
Minister Kuleba urged countries and companies worldwide to withdraw from Russia, saying, "Stop buying from Russia. Stop enabling the war machine that destroys, kills, commits sexual violence, and tortures people in Ukraine by providing it with money."
Meanwhile, Ukraine has expressed dissatisfaction with NATO's unclear stance on its membership.
