Woongjin Foods Launches Label-Free PET Bottle of Carbonated Water 'Victoria'
[Asia Economy Reporter Eunmo Koo] Woongjin Foods announced on the 25th that it will launch a product applying no-label PET bottles to its sparkling brand Victoria.
As part of its eco-friendly activities, Woongjin Foods is introducing the Victoria Eco line, which removes labels from PET bottles. This reduces the amount of plastic used and the hassle of removing labels while improving the recycling efficiency of PET bottles. The new products will be released in two popular Victoria flavors: Plain and Green Grape.
The Victoria no-label product is the first 350mL small-sized PET product introduced by Victoria. This product can be purchased online and is sold in boxes (20 units) labeled with the product name and nutritional information.
Victoria is Woongjin Foods' carbonated water brand, showing an average annual sales growth of about 70% since its launch in 2015. Last year, it was the first carbonated water brand to release a product with added functional ingredients, and including this new product, it currently holds the largest domestic lineup with a total of 18 flavors.
