Man Randomly Assaults Woman Returning Home, Police in Pursuit

On the 24th, the Busanjin Police Station announced that they are tracking down a man, Mr. A, who followed and assaulted the woman and then fled.
According to the police, Mr. A assaulted Ms. B multiple times on the morning of the 22nd around 5 a.m. in the first-floor shared entrance of an officetel in Bujeon-dong, Busanjin-gu, where she was returning home, and then fled.
The police stated that Mr. A followed Ms. B as she entered the shared entrance and assaulted her while she was waiting for the elevator.
It was confirmed that Mr. A did not use a weapon, and Ms. B sustained a scalp laceration from the assault and was transported to the hospital.
The shared entrance of the officetel requires a password to enter, but it was reported that the entrance was open at the time.
