GH, Customized Management for Safety Accident-Prone Sites
[Asia Economy (Suwon) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] Gyeonggi Housing and Urban Corporation (GH) is preparing and implementing customized management plans for sites vulnerable to safety accidents.
On the 23rd, GH announced that in relation to the Serious Accidents Punishment Act, which has been in effect since January this year, it has prepared customized management plans to conduct intensive management of sites vulnerable to safety accidents to raise awareness of safety accidents and prevent minor safety accidents from escalating into serious accidents.
Accordingly, GH designates and manages special management sites based on internal criteria, such as sites with the highest frequency of accidents within the past two years or sites where the same type of accident has occurred more than twice.
For sites designated as special management sites, GH conducts ▲ group training for safety management officers ▲ special training for on-site workers before starting vulnerable construction types ▲ special inspections including external experts.
Earlier, on the 18th, GH conducted group training for safety management officers, including special management site supervisors and site managers. At the end of this month, special inspections of the special management sites will be carried out.
