[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Jonghwa] The "Color Pictures, Miles Aldridge Photo Exhibition," decorated with Noroo Paint's premium Pantone paint, will be held at the Hangaram Design Museum in the Seoul Arts Center until August 28.
As consumption of culture and arts expands from the MZ generation to middle-aged and older adults, companies are actively marketing to art consumers (Art+Consumer). Noroo Paint is accelerating its efforts to target art consumers as a color-specialized company through collaborations with the cultural and artistic sectors using color.
This photo exhibition, held for the first time in Asia in Korea, focuses on the artist's analog working method and is themed around color and film. Visitors can view over 110 works and videos that interpret scenes inspired by world-renowned film directors Alfred Hitchcock, Stanley Kubrick, and David Lynch in Aldridge's unique style.
Noroo Paint utilized its premium high-chroma Pantone paint, boasting a lineup of over 2,600 colors, to create intense color effects that highlight Aldridge's provocative and surreal works. Additionally, color consultations were provided tailored to the artworks in each exhibition space.
The theme of color in this photo exhibition is also noteworthy. Noroo Paint, which established the first color research institute in the domestic paint industry and partnered with the global color company Pantone, actively participated in this art collaboration centered on the theme of color.
