Kumho Tire Participates in Global Tire Exhibition... "Targeting the European Market"
[Asia Economy Reporter Hyunseok Yoo] Kumho Tire is making a full-scale push into the European market by participating in tire exhibitions in Europe.
Kumho Tire announced on the 20th that it will participate in the global tire exhibition "The Tire Cologne 2022 (TTC)" held in Cologne, Germany from the 24th to the 26th, and "Autopromotec 2022" held in Bologna, Italy from the 25th to the 28th. The event will be attended by Kumho Tire President Jeong Il-taek, Executive Vice President of European Sales Namhwa Cho, and Senior Executive Director of G. Marketing Gangseung Lee, among others.
TTC is the world's largest tire specialized exhibition, with major global tire makers participating. Autopromotec is an international automotive equipment and aftermarket exhibition. In 2019, about 1,670 global companies participated, and 120,000 visitors attended.
Kumho Tire expressed the concept of this exhibition as "Your SMART Mobility Partner - The Future of Smart Mobility Realized through Tires." The company aims to focus on and promote performance through its representative products. The lineup includes Kumho Tire's high-performance, summer, winter, all-season, truck and bus radial (TBR), electric vehicle (EV), and future concept tires such as the Ecsta PS71, Solus HA32, Wintercraft WP52, and airless tires, showcasing hit products for the European market.
Kumho Tire will invite key European regional clients to this exhibition. It will also operate exhibition consultations to discover and develop new clients. The plan is to communicate with customers and enhance brand awareness by presenting Kumho Tire's future strategic direction.
