CJ Olive Young Launches Recruitment for Store Positions... OOO Openings
Hiring for Store Positions with Three-Digit Scale Until the 3rd of Next Month
Applications Accepted Regardless of Education, Experience, or Gender
[Asia Economy Reporter Yuri Kim] CJ Olive Young announced on the 20th that it will conduct recruitment for store positions on a scale of three digits until the 3rd of next month.
Olive Young stated, "Based on an omnichannel strategy connecting offline stores and online malls, we have continued to grow despite COVID-19," adding, "Recruitment is actively underway accordingly." Following last month's recruitment of developers to strengthen digital business, the company plans to secure talent to lead offline growth this time.
Store positions are divided into 'Trainer', 'Captain', and 'Store Manager'. The personnel recruited this time will work as Trainers, responsible for Olive Young store operations and customer service. They will then be promoted to Captain and Store Manager, building their careers as store operation and sales experts.
Olive Young offers all employees who have worked as Trainers for more than one year the opportunity to be promoted to Captain through quarterly evaluations. This year, the company introduced a 'Fast Track' system allowing outstanding personnel to be promoted early regardless of their length of service.
Upon joining as a Trainer, employees receive a 40% discount at Olive Young, incentives based on performance, and support for congratulatory and condolence events. Additionally, through the Job Posting system, employees can develop their careers into roles such as Merchandising (MD), Brand Management (BM), Marketing, and Human Resources based on their store experience.
Applications can be submitted through the CJ Group recruitment website. Anyone interested in Olive Young can apply regardless of educational background, experience, or gender.
Olive Young has made the evolution of offline stores a key strategy this year and is currently renewing 250 stores for this purpose. As of the first quarter of this year, the number of stores reached 1,272, an increase of seven compared to the previous year. Olive Young stated, "We plan to continue both qualitative and quantitative growth of stores by leveraging this large-scale recruitment."
