The association stated in front of the Gyeongnam Provincial Office, "We can no longer stand by and watch the collapsing Gyeongnam," and "With a sense of urgency, we strongly support candidate Park Wan-su, the guardian of Gyeongnam's leap forward."
They also said, "Candidate Park has the experience to quickly revive the struggling Gyeongnam and the strong capability to firmly connect the central government and the Gyeongnam provincial administration." They claimed, "Since passing the 1979 Administrative High Examination, he has held various positions such as Hapcheon County Governor, Director of Agriculture Policy and Economic Trade at Gyeongnam Provincial Office, Mayor of Changwon, Supreme Council Member of the Saenuri Party, Secretary-General of the Liberty Korea Party and the United Future Party, and the 3rd Policy Coordination Chairman of the People Power Party, and will solve Gyeongnam's challenges with this diverse experience."
The association added, "He has been recognized for his passion and achievements, receiving awards such as the Korea CEO Management Award, the Best National Local Government Head Pledge Implementation Evaluation Award, and being selected as an outstanding member of the National Assembly in the National Audit."
