On the 16th, BioPlus announced that it achieved consolidated sales of 12 billion KRW and operating profit of 5.6 billion KRW in the first quarter of this year. This represents a 36% increase in sales compared to the same period last year, with an operating profit margin of 47%.
A company official explained that by applying the patented ‘MDM Tech,’ a biomaterial application platform developed in-house, they maximized the product’s safety and quality (viscoelasticity, durability, molding ability, biocompatibility, biodegradability, etc.). They achieved the highest performance since the company’s founding through these product strengths and differentiated marketing strategies, marking a successful starting point for achieving this year’s annual goals.
