KOTRA Holds Crowdfunding Day with Taiwan's Leading Platform 'Jekjek'
Attention on Idea Products for Homebodies and Single-Person Households
[Asia Economy Reporter Jin-ho Kim] KOTRA announced on the 16th that it will hold the "Taiwan Crowdfunding Day" in collaboration with Taiwan's largest crowdfunding platform, "Jekjek."
This event was organized to support the entry of domestic innovative startups with idea products into the Taiwanese market. It will be held online for three days starting from the 17th.
On the first day of the event, an online briefing session for Jekjek entry will be conducted. Ding Chanyu, Jekjek's General PM, will introduce ▲the current status of the Taiwanese crowdfunding market ▲the method of entering Jekjek ▲success cases to about 100 domestic company representatives.
Then, on the second and third days of the event, online business consultations will be held. Four vendors cooperating with Jekjek will meet with 37 pre-selected domestic companies and conduct a total of about 70 consultations.
During the pre-selection process of domestic companies, Jekjek and its cooperating vendors paid close attention to idea products for homebodies and single-person households. A frying pan with wok functionality capable of Chinese cooking and a portable watercolor diary that allows easy drawing anytime and anywhere received the greatest response from Taiwanese participants.
