Jangseong-gun Promotes 'e-Mobility Lease Fee Support Project'
[Jangseong=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Jo Hangyu] Jangseong-gun, Jeollanam-do announced on the 13th that it will promote the ‘e-Mobility Lease Fee Support Project,’ which supports rental fees for ultra-small electric vehicles and electric two-wheelers for small business owners until December.
The support targets small business owners with registered workplaces in Jangseong-gun, having 5 or fewer regular employees (10 or fewer for mining, manufacturing, construction, and transportation industries), and annual sales of 500 million KRW or less.
The support amount is 100,000 KRW per month for ultra-small electric vehicles and 25,000 KRW per month for electric two-wheelers, which corresponds to 50% of the small business owners’ burden based on a 24-month lease contract.
However, support is only available if the lease contract is for ultra-small electric vehicles or electric two-wheelers produced in Jeollanam-do.
Currently, the e-mobility vehicles produced in Jeollanam-do are the CEVO-C SE by Sebo Mobility, the NICE-EVIL by Daepung EV Automobile, and the SEMMA-K3 model by ALB Co., Ltd.
After signing a lease contract for the relevant model, applicants can apply in person at the Eup/Myeon Administrative Welfare Center or the Economic Transportation Division on the first floor of the county office with the contract and other required documents.
A county official said, “We hope this will help local small business owners who are struggling due to COVID-19,” and added, “We ask for the interest and applications of the relevant self-employed individuals.”
For more details, contact the Jangseong-gun Economic Transportation Division or the Eup/Myeon Administrative Welfare Center by phone, or refer to the announcement posted on the Jangseong-gun website.
