산업은행, Recruiting 5th Batch of Startup Incubation 'KDB NextOne' Until Next Month 2nd
Support for Selected Companies Includes Office Space, Mentoring, IR Consulting, and Business Linkage
[Asia Economy Reporter Yu Je-hoon] The Korea Development Bank (KDB) announced on the 13th that it is recruiting companies to participate in the 5th batch of its startup incubation program, 'KDB NextONE,' until the 2nd of next month.
KDB plans to announce the final selected companies in early July. The selected companies will participate in the incubation program for five months at Mapo Front1.
KDB will provide the selected companies with not only office space support but also customized mentoring, investor relations (IR) consulting, business linkage, and demo days to support their practical growth. Additionally, through organic connections with other platforms such as KDB NextRound, Korea's leading investment attraction platform, and NextRise (a startup fair), step-by-step and tailored support will be offered.
KDB NextONE nurtures startups by leveraging the bank's own innovative financial support capabilities, including customized growth strategy consulting from KDB's M&A Consulting Office, overseas expansion webinars utilizing a global venture network, and investment attraction support through NextRound.
Since its launch in 2020, it has completed the incubation of 45 startups over three batches. Participating companies have created numerous business achievements such as business partnerships and patent applications, as well as new jobs. Notably, 25 of these companies attracted a total investment of 31.3 billion KRW during the incubation period.
This year, the incubation program has been further advanced by expanding expert mentoring for startups' overseas expansion, connecting with local venture capital (VC), and investment attraction IR.
Meanwhile, the 15 startups selected in January and currently undergoing incubation in the 4th batch of KDB NextONE will share their incubation achievements and conduct startup business model IR at the demo day event held at NextRise (COEX, June 16-17), Korea's largest startup fair.
