Gyeonggi-do Selects 9 'Regional Balanced Development Performance Projects'... 13.3 Billion KRW Support

[Asia Economy Reporter Ra Young-cheol] Gyeonggi Province announced on the 13th that it has finally selected nine projects, including the distribution of small LPG storage tanks and the establishment of branch offices of senior welfare centers, as the "2nd Regional Balanced Development Project Performance Projects," and will begin full-scale implementation within this month.
On the 12th, through the 'Gyeonggi Province Regional Balanced Development Committee Review,' six cities and counties were selected for nine projects, and a total budget of 13.3 billion KRW will be provided as performance project funds for these projects.
The selected cities and counties will use the received performance project funds to expedite the promotion of existing regional balanced development projects or to discover new projects aimed at regional development and improvement of living conditions, such as "life-oriented small-scale projects."
These include ▲ Gapyeong Lifelong Learning Center construction ▲ Yangpyeong Eup Office parking lot installation ▲ Yeoncheon LPG small storage tank distribution ▲ Pocheon Senior Welfare Center Northern Branch establishment ▲ Yeoju gas pipeline project ▲ Dongducheon Natural Recreation Forest seminar room and guest room construction, among others.
The performance projects are planned to be implemented and completed by 2024, in line with the promotion period (2020?2024) of the 2nd Regional Balanced Development Project.
