Chairwoman Park also said, "The case involving Assemblyman Park Wan-joo is a serious sexual crime that occurred at the end of 2021," and added, "Today, we have decided to expel Assemblyman Park Wan-joo. The Democratic Party will respond more thoroughly to gender-based violence within the party going forward."
