Jangseong-gun Operates 'Civil Petition Guardian System'... Minimizing Inconvenience for Residents
[Jangseong=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Jo Hangyu] Jangseong-gun, Jeollanam-do announced on the 12th that it will operate the ‘Civil Petition Guardian System’ which directly assists petitioners in handling their civil petitions.
The Civil Petition Guardian System is a system where an employee in charge of the relevant field is designated as a guardian to support the petitioner upon receipt of the petition. If the petitioner requests to use the Civil Petition Guardian System during the consultation process, the county designates a guardian.
The county plans to designate team leader-level or higher employees who have extensive experience in civil petition work and are familiar with local conditions as civil petition guardians to minimize inconveniences arising during the petition handling process.
The designated civil petition guardian will support the entire process from application form preparation to guidance on the intermediate progress and notification of the processing results.
A county official said, “We expect that the operation of the Civil Petition Guardian System will enable more efficient problem-solving, such as reducing the time required for petition processing.”
For more details, please contact the Civil Service Department of the county office.
