BMW Korea Future Foundation, Job Lecture Program in Yeosu
BMW Korea Future Foundation conducts the Young Talent Dream Project at Yeosu Technical High School
[Asia Economy Reporter Choi Dae-yeol] BMW Korea Future Foundation announced on the 12th that it held the 'Young Talent Dream Project' at Yeosu Technical High School.
Now in its second year, this program is a specialized automotive industry job lecture aimed at high school and university students to help them find their talents and dreams and grow into responsible leaders. BMW Korea employees and dealer technical experts serve as lecturers to provide information about the overall automotive industry. It targets students from specialized high schools and Meister high schools with automotive departments nationwide, as well as university students.

About 60 students from Yeosu Technical High School attended the lecture held the previous day. Jung-yong Park, a technician at BMW Dongsung Motors Changwon Meister Lab, gave a lecture sharing job roles and field know-how. This school has produced 15 successful candidates up to last year through the German-style work-study dual employment program (Ausbildung) introduced by BMW Korea. The foundation plans to conduct this project for 15 high school and university students throughout this year.
