HitchMed and Kakao Healthcare Sign Business Agreement to Advance AI Medical Interview System

View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Gwan-joo] HitchMed, a company specializing in smart AI electronic medical questionnaire solutions, announced on the 11th that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Kakao Healthcare to develop and advance an AI-based medical questionnaire system.
HitchMed and Kakao Healthcare plan to combine the expertise of medical professionals with extensive clinical experience and the AI technologies of both companies to expand the range of symptoms covered and apply global standards such as the International Standard Medical Terminology System (Snomed CT) and CDM for diagnosis prediction from key symptoms, aiming to enhance the system for overseas service expansion.
HitchMed co-CEOs Yoo Ji-sang and Park So-hyun stated, "Through electronic medical questionnaires, patients can receive accurate recommendations for the appropriate medical department or have longer face-to-face consultation time with doctors. We plan to develop a more sophisticated solution through close cooperation with Kakao Healthcare and pursue global business together in the future."
