Carelabs Nine Communication Unveils Proto Hologram at 'KCON 2022 Premiere in Seoul'
[Asia Economy Reporter Jang Hyowon] CareLabs, a mobile health and beauty care platform specialist, announced on the 10th that its subsidiary Nine Communication showcased real-time holograms through PROTO HOLOGRAM at ‘KCON 2022 Premiere in Seoul’.
‘KCON 2022 Premiere in Seoul’ was held for two days from the 7th to the 8th at the CJ ENM Center in Sangam-dong, Seoul. This event, held annually since 2012, is the world’s largest K-culture event combining K-pop concerts with conventions. This year marked the first offline event since September 2019.
Yu Youngjae, CEO of Nine Communication, said, “PROTO HOLOGRAM presented real-time holograms at this digital-linked event targeting global fans. We are pleased to have successfully opened the first chapter of this event with PROTO HOLOGRAM in Korea, the birthplace of K-culture.”
PROTO HOLOGRAM is a fully autonomous, interactive plug-and-play hologram communication platform using 5G communication, developed for the first time worldwide. It has been recognized for its technology by winning awards at global IT exhibitions such as the US ‘CES 2022’ and ‘SXSW 2022’ this year.
Meanwhile, CJ ENM announced plans to hold ‘KCON 2022 Premiere’ this month in Seoul, South Korea; Tokyo, Japan; and Chicago, USA, followed by KCON events in Los Angeles, USA in August and Tokyo, Japan in October.
