Deputy Minister Bang Gi-seon, born in 1965, graduated from Seoul National University with a degree in Economics and entered public service through the 34th Administrative Examination. He has held key positions in policy and budgeting, including Director of the Land, Infrastructure and Transport Budget Division, Director of the Welfare Budget Division, Economic Budget Review Officer, Director of Policy Coordination Bureau, and Vice Minister.
Deputy Minister Choi Sang-dae, also born in 1965, graduated from Yonsei University with a degree in Economics. He entered public service through the 34th Administrative Examination and has served in various roles such as Director of Labor Environment Budget Division, Director of Welfare Budget Division, Director of Budget Policy Division, Director of Budget General Division, Director of Fiscal Innovation Bureau, Social Budget Review Officer, Budget General Review Officer, and Budget Office chief, earning a reputation as a 'budget expert.' He prepared the second supplementary budget (supplementary budget) to be implemented immediately after the new government’s launch and plans to actively promote 'expenditure restructuring' in the future.

Professor Ahn Deok-geun of Seoul National University Graduate School of International Studies, a private-sector appointee, was named Head of the Trade Negotiations Headquarters at the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy. Professor Ahn, born in 1968, holds a degree in International Economics from Seoul National University and a Ph.D. in Law from the University of Michigan, USA.
