Netmarble F&C Incorporated as Subsidiary of Data Commerce Company 'NextPlayer'
[Asia Economy Reporter Kang Nahum] Netmarble F&C announced on the 9th that it will acquire shares of Nextplayer through a comprehensive stock exchange method to promote its full subsidiary status.
Nextplayer, established in 2013, is a data commerce company that provides product planning, marketing, and sales analysis tailored to distribution trends based on accumulated data of 2 million customers. Currently, Nextplayer operates various brands targeting customers in their 20s and 30s, including inner beauty, diet health functional foods, general foods, cosmetics, and pet products.
With the addition of Nextplayer, Netmarble F&C will expand the commerce sector within its blockchain ecosystem "Cube."
Cube aims to be a metanomics infrastructure encompassing games, content (webtoons and web novels), commerce, digital humans, cryptocurrency, and wallet services. Recently, it also revealed its game lineup including "Golden Bros," "Yokai Duel," and "Meta Football," along with key investors.
Netmarble F&C plans to propose customized content to users within Cube and explore various ways to link with the coin economy.
