Daejeon City and Korea Minting and Security Printing Corporation, Online Training for Corporate 'Human Rights Culture Expansion'
[Asia Economy (Daejeon) Reporter Jeong Il-woong] Daejeon City announced on the 9th that it will conduct 'Online Human Rights Management Education' in collaboration with the Korea Minting and Security Printing Corporation. The education program was planned with the purpose of preventing social conflicts within the region and spreading a healthy human rights culture.
Human rights management refers to activities that respect the human rights of all corporate stakeholders, including employees, partner companies, subcontractors, consumers, and local residents, during the process of managing a company.
The education will mainly cover topics such as the protection of emotional laborers' human rights, improving awareness of people with disabilities, human rights management, prevention of workplace bullying, and prevention of sexual harassment.
The Korea Minting and Security Printing Corporation will produce and support online educational content as part of its social contribution projects, while the city will be responsible for recruiting local small and medium-sized enterprises to participate in the human rights management education.
The target participants are small and medium-sized enterprises, protection facilities, and local public enterprises within Daejeon. Applications can be made from the 10th to the 31st by referring to the notice (City News) posted on the Daejeon City Hall website.
After the application deadline, the city will finalize the number of participants and schedule next month and conduct the education from July to September.
