Dongbu Construction Wins K-One Gimpo Logis Logistics Center Project Worth 200 Billion KRW...
Dongbu Construction announced on the 4th that it had won the contract for the construction of the K1 Gimpo Logis Logistics Center, worth approximately 199.8 billion KRW, from SK Eco Plant on the 3rd. Dongbu Construction holds a 30% (59.9 billion KRW) construction stake. The construction period is from June this year to May 2024.
The project involves new construction with a total floor area of 180,347㎡, consisting of one basement floor and ten above-ground floors, intended for warehouse facilities. Logistics center construction requires precise workmanship and the creation of a safe environment. Dongbu Construction succeeded in securing the logistics center contract based on its diverse construction experience and high technical expertise.
The project was commissioned by K1 Gimpo Logis PFV Co., Ltd. and is located in the Hakun 5 General Industrial Complex in Gimpo City, Gyeonggi Province. Dongbu Construction and SK Eco Plant signed the construction contract with K1 Gimpo Logis PFV on the 29th of last month.

Last year, Dongbu Construction also won the contract for the Gimpo Hangang New Town logistics center development project. A Dongbu Construction official stated, "Based on accumulated construction know-how gained from various sites, we plan to actively participate in fields requiring precise and specialized construction, such as logistics centers, in the future."
