"Leveraging the Strengths of Local Media"
[Asia Economy Reporter Cha Min-young] With the June 1 local elections just a month away, D'Live announced on the 4th that it will strengthen its role as a regional news channel.
Since March 20, D'Live has been delivering updates on preliminary candidates by electoral district, primary election status, and candidate-specific policy analyses through the "June 1 Local Election Situation Room" segment. Starting from the second week of May, the channel plans to invite 30 candidates for the 15 district mayor positions in Seoul to the studio for individual interviews. In the Gyeonggi region, D'Live will conduct on-site interviews titled "Listening to the Candidates" by meeting 28 candidates for mayor and county head positions across 14 areas.
From the start of the election period on May 19, D'Live will produce and air four short-form dramas addressing Q&A related to voting. Through various election broadcast contents such as debates and discussions hosted by the Election Broadcasting Debate Committee, candidate speeches, and career broadcasts, the channel will provide local residents with essential information for voting. On election day, June 1, D'Live will present live vote counting under the theme "The Choice of the Region, Together with D'Live," sharing vote count status, candidate vote results by electoral district, and sketches of candidate camps.
