Nongshim Delivers Gift Sets to Leukemia Patients in Celebration of Children's Day
[Asia Economy Reporter Eunmo Koo] Nongshim announced on the 4th that it delivered a special gift for children with leukemia and pediatric cancer in celebration of Children's Day.
Nongshim donated 600 gift sets consisting of ramen, snacks, and beverages to the Korea Leukemia Pediatric Cancer Association for children with leukemia and pediatric cancer. The gift sets delivered by Nongshim will be distributed to patients nationwide who are undergoing treatment.
Since 2018, Nongshim has been supporting children with leukemia and pediatric cancer through various programs. For patients with weakened immune systems, it delivers Baeksansu mineral water every month, and it also conducts support activities annually such as donating blood certificates through group blood donation campaigns and holding drawing contests to commemorate World Pediatric Cancer Day.

In addition, Nongshim delivered about 340 snack house-making gift sets for children in the local community to 22 child centers located in Dongjak-gu, Seoul. The snack house-making gift sets consist of snacks that allow children to build candy houses featured in fairy tales. Instead of glue, sugar dough is used on the house model to attach and decorate with various snacks.
