Gyeongsang National University Selected for 4 Consecutive Years as Implementing Agency for 'Gyeongnam-type Smart Job Specialist Training Project'
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] Gyeongsang National University has been selected as the executing institution for the "2024 Gyeongnam-type Smart Job Specialized Workforce Training Project" conducted by Gyeongnam Province and will carry out the project until the end of this year.
In April, Gyeongsang National University was chosen as the executing institution for the "Smart IT Specialized Workforce Training Project," one of the regional and industry-tailored job creation support projects implemented by the Ministry of Employment and Labor and Gyeongnam Province.
The purpose of this project is to respond to the government's innovative talent development policy aimed at nurturing workforce in the core fields of the 4th Industrial Revolution. By providing customized talent education and employment support for the operation and management following the spread of smart factories, it plans to secure the competitiveness of Gyeongnam's manufacturing industry.
The education program conducted by the Smart Factory Support Center at Gyeongsang National University consists of a common track covering smart factory technology overview, industrial robots, and PLCs, and four specialized tracks divided into smart big data analysis, smart artificial intelligence and machine learning, smart mechanical systems, and smart robot control.
The tuition is completely free, and during the training period, meal expenses, transportation costs, and textbook fees are supported. The project team provides one-on-one close support until employment.
